The documentary tells of the experiences of various Argentines who have immigrated to Montreal, Canada in search of opportunities for personal development that they could not find in Argentina.  Far from their emotional supports, they struggle to adapt to a new culture without losing their own customs.  The desire to return and the births of children make the circumstances of their uprooting more controversial.
